We are looking for someone to join our team in our manufacturing facility to do assembly work for roadcases & foam inserts, there is an opportunity to grow in this role to help run our CNC Router & waterjet machinery based in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

If you are an experienced cabinet maker or CNC machine operator who is flexible to run our Thermwood CNC router and OMAX Waterjet along with doing assembly work then we would love to talk to you.

We manufacture road cases & foam inserts for multiple industries including but not limited to, Pro Audio & Visual, Industrial, Medical, Defense Force etc.

We specialize in one off designed products along with regular production runs for clients.

As the size and specifications of our jobs vary, you'll need to be confident using a wide range of materials, including plywood, acrylics, plastics, foam and aluminium.

Key Requirements:

• Cabinet Making skills.
• Ability to use a measuring tape well and to read and work to dimensional drawings
• Work in a high paced environment and capable of working to deadlines.
• Any CAD background will be hugely beneficial for you to grow in your roll.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment, Production Line and Machine operation.
• Good communication skills and time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a team as well as unsupervised.
• Physically fit as all roles involve regular lifting with strong focus on health and safety.
• A can-do attitude and willing to learn/grow.
• Able to adapt on the fly when things get busy and pickup other rolls in the factory i.e. assembly work, running other machinery.
• Mechanically minded or have an engineering background.
• Take pride in completing all work to a high standard.
• Enjoy dealing with customers and coming up with efficient solutions.

Additional skills that would be helpful but not necessary:

• Experience with running CNC Routers and or Waterjets
